In order to help our children build character, I think we need to be actively building character ourselves so that we can be good role models.
We also have to establish a nurturing relationship with our children, so they can *feel* what living with positive character traits is all about.
And we have to take care of ourselves so we can take care of them!
Parenting is a difficult and complicated job… and there is no manual to go to for the answers. On this page I share posts I have written related to these topics. Each of these posts incorporates character building through one of the following themes:
- Appreciating the little things helps us get through life with more joy.
- Each challenge can be turned into an opportunity to grow.
- Adding love to our interactions builds stronger relationships.
