It’s been three years since my last mid year (ie my birthday) update so I thought I’d pop online and share a tiny bit about what’s been happening behind the scenes.
Since my fourth baby was born, I’ve been doing the usual baby/toddler stuff and trying to soak in all the precious moments while also being confronted with the reality that my oldest sons are close to leaving the nest. It’s an odd feeling being in these two stages of parenting. My eldest is in Year 12 (crazy, right?!) and my second not far behind.
Besides that, I’ve also been homeschooling my third child who is in Year 6. It’s been so amazing to have her home again, learning and growing together. The last time she homeschooled she was only 7 years old and so much has changed! We’ve been enjoying lots of deep talks, a few fun trips, and all the various learning experiences that homeschool life offers. While managing the toddler LOL.
Here are a few pictures from the last six months…

There hasn’t really been a lot of time to do a lot of work outside the home…
I did dip my toes into the early childcare and mother helping roles, but neither fit quite right with this stage of my life. Therefore I’m circling back around to this blog and how it can help me connect to like minded people to share ideas, services, and connection.
Recently one of my daughter’s friends shared how her teacher used my blog in their Christian Living class to talk about acts of kindness and it reminded me how much I did enjoy doing school visits back when I was publishing storybooks more often. So I’m just putting it out to the universe that if any teachers here in Townsville (Queensland, Australia!) are interested in school visits, I’m open to a range of different styles of visits as well as workshops for kids or teens. I enjoy putting different programs together and would love to connect with my local community if there are any services I can offer.

I have no idea if I’ll pop back into the blog this year but until I do, I wish you all the best and hope you can find a bit of practical help or inspiration in the archives.
All my love,
Chelsea
